What is the minimum amount for an online order?
There is no minimum for an online order.

How can I get more information on an item?
If you have a question on any product, please call customer service at 800-899-1869 or contact us and we will respond as soon as possible.

Can I add items to an existing order?
You may not add to an existing order. You must place a separate order.

When can I pick up my order?
Pick up orders can be placed online. Please allow at least 48 hours for pick-up orders to be ready.

Will I be charged tax?
Sales tax will be charges on all merchandise purchased by customers shipping in the state of Louisiana, where we have operations and all pick up orders.

We are tax exempt how do I not get billed tax?
For customers in the state of Louisiana, you would have to send us your tax exempt certificate.

When can I receive an invoice for my order?
Once the order is processed we will e-mail you a copy of your invoice.  Please make sure to check your trash or spam folder for the possibility it may go there.

How will I be able to track my order?
Within 1-2 business days of placing an order you will receive conformation via email an appropriate tracking number and expected delivery date for your order.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?
No we do not accept purchase orders.


The Mardi Gras Spot ships to all US and Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.  We also ship to APO/FPO addresses. Standard shipping rates apply to orders going to Canada, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Overnight delivery is not available to these territories.

How much is shipping?
The web site will determine that for you.  Put your product in your cart and follow the Estimate Shipping and Tax info under the cart that you have filled. Freight charges are based on package weight and destination.  You can pick several types of delivery and you will get all the different prices. Over sized and dimensional sized boxes are subject to additional charges. We have made every effort to keep shipping costs as low as possible. We recommend that you place your orders early enough to take advantage of the least expensive shipping method.

Can shipping rates vary?
The rates shown on our website are estimated weights based on the weights and dimensions of the items being shipped. Shipping charges may be different than the actual charges for your shipment. Differences may occur based on actual weight, dimensions, and other factors. If by chance your freight runs higher than the estimated rate provided by the website we will contact you to confirm the charges before we ship out. 

What shipping options are available?
To meet the estimated delivery date, your eligible purchases may be shipped via ground or air shipping services.
Regular Delivery includes either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Home Delivery/Ground which delivers Monday through Friday (holidays excluded).
Expedited delivery service orders such as Overnight, 2nd Day Air, and 3 Day Express, need to be placed by Noon CST Monday through Friday for same day shipping, due to pick up times from FedEx Express Services.

Can I ship a package to another address?
Sure! The billing address and the shipping address do not have to be the same. The billing address must match your credit card / bank records however.

How long will it take to get my order?
We ship from New Orleans, Louisiana.  If shipping FedEx, please see the map below.

Fed Ex Ground - Delivers Monday to Friday. You can not count the day the order is placed.

Fed Ex Home - Delivers Tuesday to Saturday. You can not count the day the order is placed.

Why does shipping seem so high?
The Mardi Gras Spot uses the discounted FedEx rates we receive due to our high volume of shipping.  Some people are surprised at how much it costs to ship beads. To put it simply, beads weigh a whole lot. A case of beads can weigh as much as 35 pounds. Shipping costs depend on the weight of the package(s), the distance to be delivered and the method of delivery - i.e. Ground or Express delivery.

When will my package arrive?
Orders placed before Noon (CST) will process and ship the same day. Orders placed after Noon (CST) will process the next business day after you place your order online. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from us once your package has shipped from our warehouse with the tracking number. Simply click on the link provided in the e-mail notification to check the status of your order.

When will my package be ready for pick-up?
Orders placed on the website will be available for store pick-up 48 hours after the order is placed.

Merchandise Returns
In the event that you need to return merchandise, please contact us call (800) 899-1869 or send an email from the Contact Form. We must be notified of your desire to return merchandise within 7 days of receipt of your order. You must contact us before attempting to make a return. We only accept unopened items for return, and any decision to accept a return is at our discretion.  We do not accept returns on costumes, hats, masks, wigs, bulk decorations & food items. There is a 15% restocking fee, shipping is non-refundable, and you must pay the return shipping costs.
